Tipping on Your
Mt. Kilimanjaro Trek:
Usually it costs each trekker about $18 to $25/day to tip the entire
climbing crew (Leading guide, assistant guide, porters and a cook),
so, for say, a 6 days trek, it would cost you about $130 to $180 for
tipping, and tipping is done at the end of trip.
Basically, here are recommended tip from a group (not for each
climber):
Leading guide: $16/day
Assistant guide: $12/day (for each assistant guide)
Porters: $7/day (for each porter)
Cook: $8/day.
